The review
The best deep-pan slice I had in NYC. Despite the thick base, it was beautifully crisp underneath with a great chew through the dough. The pepperoni cupped perfectly as it cooked, leaving little pools of rendered fat that soaked into the cheese and gave every bite loads of flavour. Excellent cheese, a beautiful tomato sauce and everything you want from a proper New York slice. Famous in the name, famous in the eating.
